  • Play Host (Starting at $12/hr + Tips)

    Hospitality is central to Goose & Giggles mission and our Play Hosts are the foundation to providing the highest level of service to our guests. 

    Basic Responsibilities:

    • Anticipate needs of customers and provide an elevated level of customer service. This involves working at the café counter, checking customers in, selling play passes, and educating customers about our facility and offerings.
    • Prepare and serve food and drinks at the café counter.
    • Monitor and engage with children utilizing our play area while prioritizing their safety.
    • Keep the play area, cafe counter, and facility clean and tidy. This includes executing daily light and deep cleaning procedures. 
    • Help guide and facilitate activities amongst children inside the play area.

    Requirements & Skills:

    • A passion for families with young children and basic knowledge of their needs.
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills, especially in a family friendly environment.
    • Demonstrates good communication skills to interact with adults and children effectively.
    • Adaptable to changing circumstances and customer needs.
    • Basic math skills to handle transactions and food/drink preparation.
    • Position will require a background check because the role involves interaction with children.
    • Food prep and Barista training will be provided
  • Party Host (Starting at $9/hr + Tips)

    Building upon the role of a Play Host, a Party Host has additional training to provide high quality, private parties and events. 

    Shift Availability:  Part Time

    • 3-14 hours per week
    • Shifts available on weekend afternoons & evenings. Weekday evening shifts might also be available depending on reservations.

    Basic Responsibilities:

    • All basic responsibilities of Play Host
    • Prepare the cafe for parties (arrange furniture, place decorations, prepare food/drinks, make sure the facility is clean, etc.)
    • Provide excellent customer service throughout the entirety of the event.
    • Monitor the play area and ensure safety protocols are followed by all guests.
    • Assist customers in transportation of supplies and gifts to their vehicles at the conclusion of their rental time.
    • Clean up after the event and prepare space for the next party or closing

    Requirements & Skills:

    • All requirements & skills of a Play Host in addition to an elevated attention to detail and desire to provide high quality event services.
    • Position will require a background check because the role involves interaction with children.

    *Note: Play Host wage is higher due to guaranteed Party Host tips (tips starting at $17.50/host/party). Pay will be calculated based on the assigned role during each shift.

  • Barista ($13-$15/hr + Tips)

    Love kiddos? Lead with kindness? Looking for a part-time job that feels more like being part of a fun, supportive village? This could be the perfect fit for you!

    As a Barista, you’ll spend your time welcoming guests, taking customer orders, prepping drinks and snacks, and helping keep our cozy play space tidy. You’ll be a key part of making sure everything runs smoothly, all while working alongside an amazing crew.

    • Hours: Flexible shifts based on availability, averaging 15-25 hours per week. Nighttime and weekend availability is required.
